While I may be a retail expert, you live in your retail space every day. You know your customers and have specific insight as to what happens day-to-day. That is why our time together will be a collaboration. I won’t be doing this for you, but rather, with you. I will make sure that what we come up with is what you want.

Store transformations are comprehensive. You will have a clear view and understanding of your store’s new layout and fixturing before the actual implementation. My time on-site will include educating you and your staff on the tactics used and the post set-up transformation guide will leave you with direction on how to maintain the new changes.

THE TRANSFORMATION PROCESS

Our comprehensive program will give you everything you need to set up shop or transform your existing space into a lean, mean, selling machine.

During this phase, an assessment is done of the retail store, either through a site visit or photos sent by the shop owner. The assessment will focus on:

Storefront design including window presentations
Shop Layout: traffic and categories
Current shop fixtures and presentation techniques applied

Once the assessment is completed, a pre-transformation guide is delivered to the you which includes the following:

  • Proposed shop traffic layout, with reasoning behind the recommendations. There may be a couple or more layout options presented. This will be done to scale using as much of the available fixtures as possible, as well as recommending new ones as required.
  • Category plan and adjacencies will be presented, with options to consider based on product margins and turnaround performance.
  • Sample planograms for floor and wall fixtures, allowing retailers to implement effective display strategies on their own.
  • Sign design template to create signs for your selling space a breeze. No more runs to the sign printer. Using Microsoft Publisher, the template already sets the proper placement for text to be entered. From category signs, unit toppers, shelf talkers and promotional signs, the template allows you to print your own signs and have it in your selling space in no time!

Depending on shop size, recommended hours may range from 16 to 40 hours. During the application, you will have the option to have your staff trained in merchandising as well as adding more merchandising hours.

During this time, I will be able to show your team how to create displays that support product values; focal presentations that emotionally engage your customers as well as simple techniques that can be applied to garner positive shopper attention.
